Soft black velvet with graceful draping is featured on this vintage velvet evening top, with full sleeves and peplum flare, circa 1930s. 

The Art Deco evening peplum jacket or crop top consists of a lightweight velvet rayon, and has decorative shoulder smocking, puffed half sleeves, V-neckline with snap button closures, waist ties, and peplum drape in back.  Some photos have been over exposed in order to show detail.

*PLEASE NOTE – there are several small holes in the tie portions as shown, even though they are not visible when tied and worn.  Also, the lining reinforcement inside the shoulders is partially  detached (see pic) – again not visible from the outside, nor affects wear.

The jacket is still very wearable and is being offered “as is”.
